Descripción del Tour:
Our journey kicks off at our base in the historic district of San Telmo.
Just a stone's throw away, three captivating graffiti/murals can be discovered in close proximity. Throughout this exploration, our expert guide will be on hand to answer queries and help capture the perfect shots of these urban artworks. Among the graffiti treasures of San Telmo, you will discover a striking depiction of Lionel Messi performing his iconic "Topo Gigio" gesture, a mural featuring Diego Maradona masterfully controlling a football, and an image of Ángel Di María celebrating a goal with his trademark heart-shaped hand gesture.
Following the third mural, after a brief three-block stroll, a car awaits to transport us to our next stop: the home of the largest Diego Maradona mural in the world, nestled in the heart of CABA. Crafted by the same artist, we will also encounter yet another mural of Lionel Messi.
Having completed our exploration and photo session of the San Telmo murals, we will then venture by car to the neighborhood that Diego Maradona called home during his formative years: La Paternal. This area is steeped in football history, represented by the local club, Argentinos Juniors. Their stadium, named after Diego Armando Maradona, is affectionately known as "The Seedbed of the World", renowned for producing exceptional football talent.
The Diego Armando Maradona Stadium block is adorned with murals portraying him at various stages of his life. We will circle the stadium exterior, delving into the history of a man once hailed as the world's finest footballer, before concluding our neighborhood visit with a trip to Maradona's first residence post-Villa Fiorito.
Following our tour of La Paternal, we'll be chauffeured to the vibrant neighborhood of Palermo. Despite its modern vibe, Palermo's cultural significance is not to be underestimated. Here, we'll encounter murals celebrating the 2022 Argentine National Team champions. These include a depiction of the iconic save by Emiliano "Dibu" Martínez in the final moments before the penalty shootout, and a mural capturing the moment Lionel Messi raised the victorious cup with his team. We'll also make a stop at a local bar, its exterior graced by the portraits of the World Champion National Team's three captains from 1978, 1986, and 2022: Daniel Passarella, Diego Maradona, and Lionel Messi.
After completing this immersive route, we'll wind down by heading to a cozy café in Palermo at around 5 p.m. for a tasty snack (included).
